1. Controller
TexTrade Sagl, Via Cantonale 2A, 6928 Manno, Switzerland, info@textrade.ch. This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit this website, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. Data we process
Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider’s server (see point 5)automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and device type. We use it to operate and secure the site and to fix errors.
Contact by e-mail or phone. If you contact us, we process the data you give us (such as name, company, e-mail address, phone number and message) to answer your request and manage the business relationship.
Exchange rates. The Currency rates page loads reference rates from the Frankfurter service (api.frankfurter.dev), which publishes data from the European Central Bank. When you open that page, your browser connects to that service, which can see your IP address.
3. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Technical cookies may be set to remember your chosen language.
4. Purposes and legal basis
We process data to run and secure the website, to communicate with business contacts, and to maintain our business relationships. Where required, we rely on your consent or on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
5. Recipients and hosting
The site is hosted by Soplink SA, Manno (Switzerland), on infrastructure provided by its partner METANET AG, Zurich (Switzerland), in data centres located in Switzerland. Both companies process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data. We share it with third parties only where needed for the purposes above, or where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
This site is hosted in Switzerland. If you access pages that load content from external services (such as the exchange rate service described above), your browser may connect to servers located outside Switzerland. If data is transmitted to countries lacking an adequate level of protection, this occurs only subject to the safeguards provided for by the nLPD.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, commercial record-keeping duties). Server logs are kept for a limited period.
8. Your rights
Under the FADP you may request information about the data we hold on you, and its correction, deletion or restriction, or object to its processing, within the limits of the law. Write to info@textrade.ch. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), edoeb.admin.ch.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this site.
